This could be the start to something monumental. Or it could be the start to something that's just mental.
I'm Savanna and this blog is a multifandom mess of Sherlock Holmes, Psych, Yuri on Ice, Doctor Who, Benedict Cumberbatch, Kingsman, Martin Freeman, The Hobbit/LOTR, and really anything that tickles my fancy. I love Johnlock and potatoes so if either of those things offend you then you've come to the wrong place, friend!

teenlock au where sherlock asks john to help him practice for a date with vic trev by going on a practice date together except there is no vic trev and sherlock just wants to go on a date with john 💘 meanwhile john is outrageously jealous
john jealously asks sherlock to describe vic trev and sherlock’s like “shit didn’t think thru this part of the lie v well” so he just blatantly describes john and john gets jealous of himself
john *glaring with gritted teeth*: so what is this … “victor trevor” like?
sherlock: ummm he’s… blond! and he wants to go to medical school and he’s got these amazing blue eyes and he’s really brave and his jumpers look really soft like maybe if he was cuddling with me and
john: this guy is clearly a tool i hate him
sherlock: he once told me my deductions were amazing 😍
Watson drags the match across the box, the light from the resulting flame flickering against the walls.
After all, this is the 19th century.
He lifts the match forward, stepping close enough that the small flame from the match illuminates his features as well as that of Holmes, their shadows bouncing off of one another’s and the heat from the small flame drawing them closer.
Holmes bends his head slightly downward, his pipe still in his mouth, now just below the match in Watson’s hand. Small puffs of smoke cling to the air. Watson withdraws his hand to extinguish the flame, the room now lit only by the smoke trailing up from the pipe.
Watson does not move away, and Holmes lowers his pipe.
A breath later, the taste of tobacco on Watson’s tongue.
Anonymous: "If I stop, assume I'm gone. Mourn me, stranger, for I was wonderful. Ha. No. Honestly though I am content. How are you? Good day or nah?"
Of course. And I’m glad to hear you’re content! That’s always a good thing to be. And my day was just kind of meh but since then it’s gone from okay to sucky for now apparent reason!!!! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Cool!
So imagine the Johnlock kiss scene. Like their first kiss. Shown onscreen. Lips locked, hands hesitantly reaching for one another, dramatic music swelling in the background.
Now think about how it will be when someone makes one of those videos of it that cuts out all the music. Think about the intimacy of that, of the soft sounds we might hear, the rustling of their clothing rubbing together, the little thunk when one of them gets pushed against a wall, their lips moving together, the tiny noises that come from one or both of them, maybe a little sigh, or a very quiet groan, or a surprised gasp, or all of the above. Just think about that for a minute.
oh god oh godddd the whole conversation between sherlock and mycroft when sherlock says he doesn’t like magnuessen “because he attacks people who are different and preys on their secrets” makes so much sense after magnussen literally sexually harassed him and insinuated he was “different”
Yeah maybe you’re right. But I put everything I had to say in the tags anyway so what does it matter? It was my post to begin with, I think I have the “right” as you put it to but a little upset someone went and changed it.
fairietaleclara-blog: "This is 100% really me asking you, without sarcasm or whatnot. Why do you want Sherlock to do drugs so badly?"
100% me answering honestly, I truly don’t know. I’ve been fixated on it since the first episode. I’ve tried puzzling it out and the best thing I can come up with is that it’s one of his biggest flaws. You know? It’s something that makes him human. Every hero has a downfall and for the longest time I thought his biggest downfall was addiction. It still kind of is.
Before this episode, the other things that caused Sherlock to be flawed were his being rude, arrogant, and quite cold. But it never seemed like Sherlock counted them as flaws, or like he even minded. However all of that has changed. Sherlock has changed. And it makes me want to cry because he can see all these traits and it’s beginning to make me feel like he hates himself because he can’t change them. Except he can, and he has, and he can still grow day in an day out as long as he has his doctor around to set things right. Which, of course, is why it is so damn heartbreaking that his doctor is going to leave him. And Sherlock knows that too.
Anyway, I’ve totally gotten off track. Again, the only reason I can fathom for my being so desperate to see his drug use is because it makes him human and it shows that there are things even Sherlock Holmes cannot overcome. The show makers have made it pretty clear that they’ve left his drug use behind, that it won’t be a point they’ll visit often, but I guess I’ve got a twisted mind and I want to see more of it.
